the quest hotel has a perfect location. it's just a 10-minute walk to queen vic markets and the mall. easy access to trams too. our room was super clean when we arrived. we loved the open feel with the verandah. the staff were so friendly - especially the receptionist at checkout. she was the happiest person I've ever met!
Couldn't recommend more.

Central hotel.
Good home base for 2 nights with very pleasant and pleasant staff on this staff member. A lot of options, DELICIOUS food. Large room, clean bathroom with a bathtub. Very comfy beds, great and handy location central to southern cross station. Also - so close to tram stops, coffee shop across the rd.

Location
Thought payment was completed on-line when booked but apparently that was just the booking fee. Very confusing.

The staff were really helpful with any queries and requests, especially Josh. The locality was excellent, easily within walking distance to shopping, trains etc. Trams right on the corner. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was the king size bed in the smaller room - could not open the wardrobe. I thought it was going to be in the larger room with the view. The price we paid was great value for money, especially as it was Cup week. Would definitely stay again.
Only that we could not open/ use the cupboard in the second room as it was blocked by the bed. Shower a little small but ok.

The apartment suited our family's needs perfectly for city explorations. The staff's helpfulness, especially with my mobility issues, was commendable. Enjoying local landmarks like the Royal Botanic Gardens and SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium made for unforgettable bonding moments. A solid choice, though be prepared for some unexpected fees.

Location is fantastic - just a few steps from Bourke St and access to trams, and also just a few blocks from Southern Cross Station. We stayed in an Executive Two-Bedroom Apartment - spacious bedrooms, lounge and dining areas, serviceable kitchen and laundry facilities. We also had a balcony overlooking the dome of the Supreme Court. The apartment was serviced daily. The Quest on William provides easy access to many of the tourist facilities, cafes, restaurants and shopping offered in Melbourne and the convenience of staying here is well worth the price paid.
Both bathrooms were quite outdated and given the size of the bathrooms, a bigger shower could be accommodated. The main bedroom had an ensuite with a very small shower while the main bathroom, whilst long, had the shower over the bath.

The reception staff were fantastic. Extremely friendly and helpful at all times. They even went the extra mile and booked the seat numbers for our flight home, saving a very long queue at the airport. Location was great, only a short walk down to the Yarra for our early morning walks, and excellent proximity to all the great shopping, cafes/bars and trams. Because it is in the business district there is not a lot of street noise at night, or tram/train noise. Apartments were serviced each day. Cheap friendly cafe next door for breakfast. All round an excellent place to stay.
The balcony was very drab and uninviting.

Spacious rooms and well appointed. Staff were excellent - very helpful at all times. We were there for a week and the first room we were allocated faced a stone wall but they willingly changed us to a better room. The location was good but there are other Quests in Melbourne so its worth checking their other locations. In the middle of the CBD so although several coffee shops and restaurants nearby, most cafes closed on weekends.
The room wasn't cleaned during our stay though the towels were changed daily.

We spent 7 nights in an apartment with a full kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. the location of this hotel is great, conveniently close to metro and bus stations, as well as bars, restaurants, and shops. It's also near Melbourne's attractions, including the convention centre, aquarium, and Southern Cross train station, making it a lovely choice for our stay.

We were three persons: me, my partner and our friend. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Right after we made the booking, before we even arrived, they called us to ask what type of group we are - friends, couples or family. This was to ensure that we had the kind of beds we wanted. This made me very happy - doesn't take much time to call the customer and ask, but definitely makes their stay a whole lot better! Thanks for that :) The apartment itself was very modern and had everything we needed. Big bathroom with both shower and bathtub, and great kitchen facilities. Beds were very comfy and wifi cost less than in some of the other hotels/apartments we had stayed in. Nice location in the CBD, close to Southern Cross Station. Reception staff was helpful and the apartment was cleaned every day.
